NEW BOSTON SAU-SEA

New Boston and Sau-Sea Drops Anchor At Hot Mama’s Foods And Stays

New Boston Seafood Inc. and Sau-Sea Foods Inc., perhaps most famous for their shrimp cocktail in distinctive glass jars, have been customers of Hot Mama’s Foods since 2008.

Headquartered with New Boston Seafood in Water Mill, N.Y., private label wholesaler Sau-Sea sent its product development team to Hot Mama’s on the recommendation of colleagues in the food business.

Sau-Sea’s goal was to find an experienced, highly professional food processor that could not only support the upgrading of their current product line of seafood and sauces, but also have the ability to expand Sau-Sea’s offerings with new products in their forecast.

As the project progressed, Sau-Sea was impressed with Hot Mama’s fresh approach to creative food processing – along its openly friendly enthusiasm, innovative thinking, and across-the-board professionalism.

In addition to this tremendously positive corporate attitude, Sau-Sea found Hot Mama’s Foods to have exceptional Quality Control standards, a highly-trained, highly-imaginative R&D staff that really knew how to think outside the box, and a business management group that had a clear understanding of Sau-Sea’s strategy and goals, and how to implement them successfully.

Problem solving was brisk, insightful and effective. This was seen by Sau-Sea especially in the way Hot Mama’s recommended and implemented a better production flow for Sau-Sea’s product processing – and in the way Hot Mama’s Foods provided Sau-Sea with new, detailed cost accounting and systematic handling procedures. In brief, Sau-Sea found Hot Mama’s Foods to be fast, friendly, smart, and a valuable, trustworthy partner.

This solid relationship continues to this day, with a very confident Sau-Sea sailing into Hot Mama’s Foods regularly with new ideas, new strategies, and new challenges. Navigating at top speed, Hot Mama’s Foods has been instrumental in rolling out several new product lines since this collaboration began. As Antonio Estadella, the owner of Sau-Sea and New Boston Seafood recently said, “We would highly recommend Hot Mama’s Foods to anyone.”
